In the world of portable vaporizers, there are works of art, and there are utter and complete pieces of junk. With a name like DaVinci, we were expecting the former, but overall ended up with the latter. Why? Read on to find out.
Toasting itself as a premium portable vaporizer, the DaVinci sports a price tag well on the high side of the market; expect to shell out roughly $200 when you get your hands on one of these.
Before starting our negatives, let’s take a look at what the DaVinci Vaporizer does right:
First off, the device is SMALL. It certainly is easy to hold and transport in your pockets, but there is something about it that just doesn’t feel right to me. I don’t want to call it a cheap feel, but for the money I paid for the DaVinci, a little more substance. However, this is supposed to be the positive side of things, so I will let that slide.
The unit also comes with a re-chargeable lithium ion battery that will keep you from having to run to the store every time you want a buzz.
That’s about it though. The positives end with those two little things.
In terms of what we got vape wise, the DaVinci disappointed me in a few ways. First off, the heat coming off this thing is incredible, and not in a good way. I was afraid that I would burn myself holding it. Second off, the vapor was hot and actually a bit harsh, not like it should be with any device, and certainly not one that costs about $200. I wouldn’t have been surprised if this thing would have smoked out like the Atmos Raw we reviewed earlier.
For the money, you can definitely do a lot better than the DaVinci Vaporizer. This thing is all hype, and certainly no work of art.
