When we got to review the 710Pen Mini Vaporizer’s big brother, the 710Pen, we were very surprised at the quality of the product given its low price. Having just recently reviewed that product, we were given another pleasant surprise when the 710Pen Mini arrived on our doorstep ready for review.

We were expecting this device to do quite a lot like its big brother. Does it deliver?

The 710Pen Mini Vaporizer is a cheap device, running $60 for one or $100 for two online. The device has a rechargeable battery and is set with a twist off atomizer and preset temperature setting. As with the 710Pen, we found the 710Pen Mini to be well constructed, with a weight that gives the device a bit of bulk (a nice touch given just how tiny the thing actually is).710mini

The 710Pen Mini Vaporizer takes a bit of time to heat up, but when it does, boy does it deliver. We aren’t pulling your leg here folks; this device has some of the finest vapors that we have drawn out of a portable device. We can honestly say that it comes in just behind the Volcano Plenty, a much larger (and much more expensive) device.

The vapors we experienced were strong but smooth, and almost cool. If we didn’t know better we would say that these things went through a cooling process on the way out.

Overall we have to say that the 710Pen Mini Vaporizer is the rare case when a smaller upgrade of a quality vaporizer actually improves on its ancestor. The device is cheap (usually a bad thing), and puts out a vapor that way outperforms its weight class. This thing is a definite must if you are looking for a portable vaporizer. Heck, get it for a spare in case you lose a more expensive model!
